Patricia L. Middings
is an emerging illustrator and painter working in the Newark and Wilmington areas. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a fine arts degree a few years ago and has been a painting maniac ever since. How delighted she was when asked to illustrate the Jackie Lazer poster for franks & wieners! Some work to her credit includes an illustration for a pair of skis for the ski company Line, various portrait commissions, and along with two other artists, painted the Newark Arts Alliance's community mural on the Main Street Court building in Newark this past summer. She also teaches art classes at the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington. She will be displaying her artwork at the Newark Arts Alliance Art House's Second Story Gallery on 132 East Delaware Avenue, Newark, through the month of November.
