A porno flick? Nope - neither, but this town will never be the same again!!! franks & wieners is a new comedy film produced and directed by The Film Brothers - Greg and Gordon DelGiorno. Filming took place in Delaware and the Philadelphia area during 2000, and the film premiered on November 3 and 4, 2000. Frank Nethers has always had to battle between trying to be what everyone wants him to be and his real self - a high risk crook! His girlfriend leaves him and takes everything. He finds himself homeless. After a series of unsuccessful attempts to find suitable living arrangements, which brings him face to face with all sorts of bizarre characters, he can no longer bear to live. He enters a convenience store to find something to OD on and end it all, but Jackie Lazer is holding up the place at gunpoint. A very independent woman and true smart-ass, Jackie takes Frank hostage. She uses him as her front for her next several robberies and they start to become friends. Frank is soon introduced to Jackie's circle of lame-brained hoodlums. Ted Robinson, a sometime partner of Jackie's, is a small time hustler who seduces old ladies for their Social Security checks. Then there's Joe Blanchfield (aka Jasmine), Jackie's long lost brother, a flamboyant queen who's had the hots for Ted since high school. Together, this outrageous crew breaks all the rules and shows Frank a different world. On a journey to nowhere, Frank finds his destination and himself, and begins to take control of his life.
